Appleton has access to ATV, Snowmobile, or Cross county ski trails.

On Prior Place off of Bowater Drive, we have an ice rink. In the summer the rink is typically used for skateboarding and in the winter is flooded and used for ice skating.

The Derm Flynn Riverfront Peace Park features many historical, important objects and written histories from Appleton's past.

Come out on the Gander River and enjoy a day salmon fishing!

At the playground there are many things to do and explore! Come over to the splash pad to cool off on a hot summers day or hangout on the swings...

Central NL Dragons is a team of Breast Cancer Survivors and supporters who practice the sport of Dragonboating.

At the waterfront, it's a great place to launch your boat!

On Prior Place off of Bowater Drive, we have a regulation sized outdoor volleyball court.

Across the street from the waterfront we have a basketball court.
